Charlotte Hornets Alumni: Spurs to retire Tony Parker’s number next season

Despite having a disappointing season last year, the Charlotte Hornets were able to have a legendary player on their roster. Even though Tony Parker spent one season with the Hornets, he still gave Charlotte a lot of help on many nights.

Parker made his NBA debut on October 30, 2001, against the Los Angeles Clippers. This would be a game where Parker would come off the game and score nine points in the San Antonio Spurs’ first game of the season.

Parker played for 18 NBA seasons, spending one of them with the Charlotte Hornets last season.
