On Sunday, it was reported that former Charlotte Hornets forward Johnny O’Bryant had signed with a team in Russia; Keith Smith tweeted this report. O’Bryant is 26 years old, and he last played for Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv in Israel.
O’Bryant spent the end of the 2016-17 season with the Hornets, and then he was traded the following season before the All-Star break to the New York Knicks. As a Hornet, O’Bryant managed to average 4.7 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.
When Charlotte traded O’Bryant, the team acquired current Hornets center Willy Hernangomez.
