After waiving Mangok Mathiang, the Charlotte Hornets have a two-way player spot to fill on their roster. J.P. Macura was signed earlier this summer to replace Marcus Paige who is going to play overseas. This is an opportunity for the Queen City team to sign a prospect that they can develop in the G-League with the Greensboro Swarm.
It’s unclear who they are targeting to bring in but there are a number of players who are still available. Whether it be a big man, a wing player, or a guard, Charlotte needs a player who can make an impact in the G-League and fill in when needed with the Hornets.
