As of now, the Charlotte Hornets have 12 players under contract for next season, along with one two-way player in Robert Franks. They are expected to sign their two second round picks, Cody Martin and Jalen McDaniels, which will put them up to 14 players, leaving them with one roster spot and one two-way spot open.
While two-way contracts aren’t exactly exciting for some fans, I believe that they are important. It gives you the opportunity to develop a player in the G-League, and allows that player to spend up to 45 days with the NBA club while the G-League season is going.
