With the bulk of free agency over with and training camp set to take place next month, the Charlotte Hornets and their fans are looking forward to what should be a different 2019-20 season.
I say different because the Hornets, obviously, lost their franchise player over the summer and are now transitioning into what will more than likely be one of the toughest rebuilds in the league. Despite their efforts to remain competitive in the weaker Eastern Conference, it became clear that hitting the reset button would become all but a guarantee at some point. It’s best to start building now.
