Charlotte Hornets fans have got to be relieved that this six-game Western Conference road trip is coming to an end on Monday night. So far, it’s been a brutal stretch and they’ve only been able to pick up one win in the first five games.
That win was a narrow victory over the Phoenix Suns. In three of the five games played so far on this trip, the Hornets have lost by double-digits. They are also giving up an average of 119 points per game, which is way too high.
The defense is going to have to get better, as well as the players’ intensity.
