Once though to be an afterthought of the rotation, and a player that could spend the early portion of his career in the G-League, Charlotte Hornets rookie PJ Washington has emphatically welcomed himself to life in the NBA, as well as the Rookie of the Year discussion.
Washington’s first five games has given the Charlotte Hornets fan base lots of excitement. He’s currently averaging 15.8 points and 7.0 rebounds while also shooting 55 percent from the floor and 52 percent from deep.
Let’s not forget the fact that Washington spent his entire off-season nursing a foot injury that lingered from his time at Kentucky.
