We are in the dog days of the NBA off-season, and while it may seem like the days are going so slow, NBA basketball and Charlotte Hornets basketball will be back before you know it. Training camp begins next month, and the Hornets will begin preseason on October 6th against the Boston Celtics.
After losing their former franchise star, Kemba Walker, to those Celtics earlier this summer, the Hornets will enter the 2019-20 season with a young core that will likely be building towards the future. It will be a good opportunity for some players to prove their worth, and an opportunity that some players need to grasp.
