After being traded by the Atlanta Hawks to the Charlotte Hornets in the offseason, Howard did not allow that to distract him from being a dominant player from in the paint. Howard has been able to turn a team into a Top-5 rebounding team wherever he goes. While the season did not reflect on the dominant play of Howard, his statistics did all of the talking.
The Hornets’ 2016-2017 season featured the team as being ranked #16 in the NBA in Total Rebounds. In the following season (2017-2018), the Hornets rose to #3 in the NBA.
