CLEVELAND — With home-court advantage in the upcoming NBA playoffs secure, the Cavaliers will rest some key players in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Charlotte Hornets.
All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell will sit out, giving his left knee bone bruise a break before the Cavs (48-33) eventually play Game 1 of their first-round series either April 20 or 21.
Point guard Darius Garland (back contusion) is not expected to face the Hornets (20-61), either. He is officially listed as doubtful.
