Brandon Miller's career night helps Hornets outlast Pistons in OT

November 22 - Brandon Miller scored eight of his career-high 38 points in overtime as the Charlotte Hornets fended off the visiting Detroit Pistons 123-121 on Thursday night.

LaMelo Ball, who was on the bench late in the Hornets' loss Tuesday night at Brooklyn, pumped in 35 points and delivered nine assists as the Hornets survived after the Pistons came back from a 20-point second-half deficit.

Miller hit two of his eight 3-point baskets in overtime. He also had a key steal to thwart the Pistons on a fastbreak less than a minute into the extra period.
