Brandon Miller signs his first NBA contract: How much will he make?

Former Alabama standout Brandon Miller signed his first NBA contract on Saturday, the Charlotte Hornets announced.

Miller joined the Hornets as the second selection in the NBA Draft on June 22.

Terms of Miller’s contract were not disclosed, but as a first-round draft choice, his new deal will be for four years, with the third and fourth seasons on team options.

The salaries of the first-round picks are based on the rookie pay scale, which is tied to the NBA salary cap of $136.
