After the pro debut of former Alabama All-American Brandon Miller on Monday night, Marlon Garnett, the coach of the Charlotte Hornets’ summer team, said he wanted “to see that motor come out of him a little bit, a little bit more aggressive.”
But in his second exhibition game in the California Classic on Wednesday night, the No. 2 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft took four shots and got to the free-throw line once. However, Miller’s stat line in a 98-83 loss to the Golden State Warriors also included a team-high seven assists.
