The Charlotte Hornets followed the Carolina Panthers’ selection of Alabama quarterback Bryce Young with the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft on April 27 by choosing Crimson Tide forward Brandon Miller with the No. 2 pick in the NBA Draft on June 22.
With both former Alabama All-Americans in Charlotte, Miller was asked on Tuesday during the Hornets’ media day about his contact with the “kind of struggling” quarterback – an assessment with which Miller disagreed.
“We talk probably every week,” Miller said. “Struggling? No. It’s all learning.
