The Boston Celtics look to get back in the win column after dropping their first game of the 2024-25 NBA regular season on the road to the Indiana Pacers 135-132 in an extra period this past Wednesday (Oct. 30) evening. TO do it, they make the trip to North Carolina's Spectrum Center to face the Charlotte Hornets on Friday (Nov. 1).
They will face a mostly healthy Hornets ball club there, while the Celtics are looking at having at least one important player on the bench, if not two. This is an improved version of Charlotte teams past, now helmed by former Boston assistant Charles Lee, so there will be little room for playing down to their opponent.
