INDIANAPOLIS -- The Pacers rallied back from 16 points down to tie the game with a four-point play by Ben Sheppard with 3.9 seconds to go in the fourth quarter, then beat the Hornets 121-116 in overtime on Thursday night in their final preseason game.
The Pacers finish preseason play 2-2. They begin the regular season on Wednesday against the Pistons in Detroit.
Ben Sheppard scored 11 points in the fourth to finish with 14 for the game. Rookie center Enrique Freeman scored nine points in overtime to finish with 15 for the game. Myles Turner led the Pacers with 18 and All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton had 14.
