In a recent interview with Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer, Al Jefferson talked about his goal to lose over 20 pounds during the off-season and what he did to accomplish this task. The main thing that Jefferson cut out of his diet to lose all of the weight was fried chicken.
It is a good that Big Al made a concerted effort to shed some pounds for the upcoming season because even though he doesn’t have great athleticism, with him starting to enter the later stages of his career at the age of 30, it is in his best interest for his game that he drop some weight.
