Charlotte Hornets General Manager, Rich Cho, has announced that the team has waived Sam Thompson, Jason Washburn, Damien Wilkins, and Elliot Williams. This means that rookie guard, Aaron Harrison, has made the Charlotte Hornets final 15 man roster for the regular season.
Harrison impressed the Hornets with his play over the summer when he played with the Charlotte summer league team. He was rewarded with a partially guaranteed multi-year contract and got a chance to make the Hornets 15 man roster.
Sam Thompson and Jason Washburn were more or less training camp bodies for the Hornets to have more players.
