PHILADELPHIA -- The Brooklyn Nets (6-10) came into Friday's NBA Cup game at the Philadelphia 76ers looking to continue the good work that they did to beat the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday and start their road trip on the right foot. Brooklyn even entered the matchup with the good news that Cam Thomas and Nic Claxton would be returning to the lineup, but it didn't fix their major issues.
The Nets lost at the 76ers on Friday 113-98 in a game that not only put Brooklyn behind in the East Group A, but also showed them that they have to do better with taking care of the basketball.
