The Brooklyn Nets (15-33) had been dealing with a lot of injuries to their rotation players, but they were also having the feeling of a 7-game losing streak on their minds as they went back on the road. Heading into Wednesday's game at the Charlotte Hornets (12-32), Brooklyn was hoping that a Charlotte team missing many of its impact players would be unable to deny them from a victory and fortunately for them, they were right.
The Nets beat the Hornets 104-83 in a game that was a wire-to-wire win for a Brooklyn that hadn't done much winning due to the amount of injuries they have been trying to overcome along with inconsistency in closing games.
