The Philadelphia 76ers walked away with a 121-108 road win over the Charlotte Hornets on Monday in a game they had to have. Despite being so short-handed, the Sixers needed to take advantage of a Hornets team they have dominated all season long and they did so thanks to their two stars.
Paul George was fantastic with 33 points, eight assists, and five rebounds while Tyrese Maxey had 40 points and five assists to lead the way for Philadelphia. With Joel Embiid sidelined, the Sixers needed these two to step up and they did so in a truly professional manner.
