DALLAS - Charlotte 49ers sophomore guard Jahmir Young was named Conference USA Co-Player of the Week for the second time this season. Young earned his first C-USA Player of the Week award two weeks ago.
Last season, Young earned Conference USA Freshman of the Week honors a league-best eight times.

For the week, Young averaged 23.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, five assists and two steals while connecting on six three-point field goals in the 49ers two games.
Saturday, Young scored a game-high 24 points, grabbed a season-high-tying seven rebounds and dished out a career-high seven assists in the 49ers' 75-71 overtime win over WKU.
