JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jayon Woodard ran a personal-best in the men's 400m, and has advanced to the quarterfinals on his time of 46.26 seconds, Thursday at the NCAA East Preliminaries in Jacksonville, Fla. on the campus of the University of North Florida.
Jayon Woodard, a junior, ran his career-fastest 400m time of 46.26 seconds in the first round of competition. Woodard's time is good for the second-best all-time in Charlotte history, improving upon his previous mark of 46.46 seconds, which he set at the Conference USA Outdoor Championships just two weeks prior.
