CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women’s tennis, coming off a Top-10 ITA Carolina Region ranking in 2015, has announced its 2016 spring slate featuring nine home matches. Head coach Michaela Gorman’s 49ers are scheduled to play a variety of opponents on the 20-match docket, including many they have not competed against for several years.
“We are looking forward to a highly-competitive schedule this spring,” Gorman said. “We will compete against schools from 11 different conferences and look to play our best tennis of the season in the C-USA Championships in April.”
Eight of the nine home matches are set for the on-campus Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex, where Charlotte posted a 10-2 mark a season ago.
