CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's golf set more school records in Tuesday's final round finishing second overall at the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate. For the second-straight day, both the individual and team scoring records were broken.
GOING LOW AGAIN TO TIE BEST FINISH
As a team, the 49ers topped yesterday's second round 278 (-6) that set the new lowest round record by going two shots better with Tuesday's 276. Charlotte led the field in par four and five scoring as a team and drained a field-best 56 birdies on the week. Charlotte tied their best overall finish concluding second at 17-under-par five shots behind Kent State

A day after Jillian Farrell set the new school record with a four-under round of 67, fellow junior Siarra Stout tied it on Tuesday holding the record for a handful of minutes before Ashley Fowler carded a five-under 66.
