MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Charlotte women's tennis completed its weekend trip to the Volunteer State with a 4-0 sweep over WKU in a neutral-site Conference USA match played in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Sunday morning. The victory is the fourth-in-a-row for the 49ers, their second-longest stretch of the spring campaign without a setback.
The victory locks in an above .500 regular-season league mark for the Niners for the first time since returning to Conference USA and first time since 2013, the last season competing in the Atlantic 10. The three regular-season conference wins match the school record for the most in a single year with 2012's 3-1 mark in the Atlantic 10.
