CONWAY, S.C. – It was nearly two weeks since the Charlotte women's tennis team was on the court for a match but the 49ers made the most of their opportunity Wednesday afternoon, gutting out a 4-3 road victory at Coastal Carolina to extend their win streak to four-in-a-row. Once again, it was doubles that laid the groundwork for the Niners as the early point, picked up for the eighth-straight time this spring, proved to be the deciding factor.
"Big win for us as the team lost a close one to Coastal Carolina last year, so it shows our improvement," head coach Anthony Davison said.
