CHARLOTTE, N.C. - For his performance in the Charlotte 49ers road win at No. 7 Kentucky, junior forward Alex Willis was named to College Soccer News' and Top Drawer Soccer's National Teams of the Week.
Earlier this season, redshirt junior goalkeeper Daniel Kuzemka earned College Soccer News' and Top Drawer Soccer's National Teams of the Week honors. Last season, redshirt senior defender Patrick Hogan and senior midfielder Joe Brito earned National Teams of the Week accolades.
PERFORMANCE AT KENTUCKY
In last Saturday's 2-1 overtime victory at Kentucky, Willis scored the game-tying goal in the 41st minute.
