CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers volleyball team completed the spring signing period by adding Bethany Clayton, Kirby Smith, and Taylor Houck who will join the roster heading into the 2018 season. The Niners round out the signing class with five new additions to join the fall.
Clayton ended her prep career at East Surry High School in Pilot Mountain where she helped guide the Cardinals to four-straight NW1A Conference tournament championships and three regular season titles. During her freshman year of 2014, East Surry finished in the runner-up spot of the NCHSAA 1A state championship game.
