Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers have announced that Mark Verburg has been named Director of the 49ers Athletic Academic Center (AAC). Verburg is in his 19th year with the university and has served as the Associate Director of the AAC since 2012.
"I am grateful and honored to become the Director of the Athletic Academic Center and to continue my career serving 49er student-athletes," Verburg said. "I'd like to thank Associate Dean for Advising and Graduation, Lisa Walker, Athletic Director Mike Hill, and Executive Associate Athletic Director Ragean Hill for entrusting me in this role.
