CHARLOTTE, N.C. – After their second-straight 2-1 tournament weekend, the Charlotte volleyball team will now embark on its first and only four-match week beginning with 6:00 p.m. contest at USC Upstate on Tuesday night. The matchup in Spartanburg will be Charlotte's second broadcast nationally on ESPN3 and also marks the halfway point of the 49ers current month-long, 13-match road trip.
Charlotte (5-4) used a similar formula to take two-of-three in the Colonial Classic having done just the same two weekends ago at the Jacksonville Classic. The 49ers fell 3-1 to host William & Mary after taking set one, but rebounded with a pair of Saturday wins over Coppin State and Western Carolina.
