RUSTON, La. – After seeing a 2-0 match lead get erased, the Charlotte volleyball team found a way to keep grinding in the fifth to score a big 3-2 (25-23, 25-22, 19-25, 13-25, 15-10) victory in C-USA action at Louisiana Tech on Friday night. The 49ers even back out to 14-14 on the year, 3-8 in C-USA play, while now holding the tiebreaker advantage sending the Lady Techsters to 12-13, 2-9.
STARTING SOLID
The Niners got off to a great start in the opener by taking control at the midway point starting with a Lana Strejcek kill at 14-all.
