CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte volleyball two school records for digs in a three-set match on Tuesday topping N.C. Central 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-16). Charlotte improves to 13-11 overall after their final non-conference win while N.C. Central drops to 5-19.
"It was great to see us play high quality, low error volleyball," began Head Coach Karen Weatherington. "This was a mid-season tune-up which is exactly what we needed. I was excited with some of the small details we took care of, how we played defensively and how aggressive we were offensively. We got a school-record with 77 digs in a three-set match and we haven't seen that from our team since I've been here.
