WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Charlotte volleyball took their lesson learned in Tuesday's five-set loss at USC Upstate and used that experience to fight back for a 3-2 (25-22, 18-25, 19-25, 25-18, 15-11) victory over High Point on Friday night. The victory, led by three double-doubles and 11 total blocks by Jocelyn Stoner and makes the 49ers a perfect 3-0 against in-state competition, gets Wake Forest's Black & Gold Invitational off on the right foot heading into Saturday's pair of matches.
"This was an incredible win over a very good team," remarked Head Coach Karen Weatherington.
