WACO, Texas — Charlotte Men's Tennis is moving on to the next round of the NCAA Doubles Championship.
Matias Iturbe and Vasco Prata outlasted Weber State's combination of Connor Kruger and Minh Tuan Dinh Viet in the first round, 6-3, 4-6, 11-9. A back-and-forth final super tiebreak set saw the 49ers come out on top after being down 6-4 at one point.
Charlotte won three of the final four points of the first set to start quickly. Weber St. did the same when it took a 3-1 lead in the second set before an eventual win to set up the tiebreak.
