Charlotte, N.C. - Sophomore Bailey Vannoy garnered her first Conference USA Player of the Week award after having an explosive, offensive weekend and a dominant presence behind the plate. This is Charlotte's first C-USA weekly award since Emma Ocker received it last season.
Vannoy helped the 49ers to an undefeated week after recording four multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games this week. So far, she has nine total multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI games. Vannoy went 11-for-15 at the plate with three home runs, two triples, three doubles, eight walks and 11 runs scored.
