CHARLOTTE — Charlotte 49ers Director of Athletics Mike Hill, following a strong period of growth and achievement, has signed a four-year contract extension. Since his arrival in 2018, Hill has led the Charlotte 49ers through an era of transformation, including a transition from Conference USA to the American Athletic Conference (AAC) and record-setting championship success across multiple sports.
"With his trademark gold standard of excellence, Mike Hill has propelled Charlotte 49ers Athletics, fostering a culture of excellence throughout our programs," said UNC Charlotte Chancellor Sharon L.
