WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A first-quarter Charlotte timeout rallied the troops, as a then-seven point deficit was closed to within three at the end of the period. The 49ers maintained their momentum with a strong second frame and never looked back from there, claiming a 77-65 victory at Wake Forest Friday night to keep their perfect start alive this season.
