CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's tennis will stay on the road this weekend for a pair of matches, traveling just across the state line into Tennessee. The 49ers will meet ETSU at 11 a.m. Friday before staying in Johnson City for a neutral-site contest at 9 a.m. Saturday against No. 49 Appalachian State.
ROAD SUCCESS
Despite playing the majority its season away from the home courts thus far, Charlotte, with its 9-3 record, has continued to find ways to win on the road with five triumphs thus far. Most recently, the 49ers registered a pair of victories in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Saturday, knocking Wofford from the ranks of the unbeaten and then handing USC Upstate a setback later in the day.
