LEXINGTON, Ky. - Following a stellar season full of podium finishes and school records for the Charlotte Track & Field program, 14 individuals have qualified for the 2017 NCAA East Region Preliminaries. The meet will take place at the University of Kentucky's Outdoor Track and Field Complex in Lexington from Thursday, May 25th to Saturday May 27th.
There are 329 NCAA member institutions that sponsor Division I Women's Track and Field teams and 278 NCAA member institutions that sponsor Division I Men's Track & Field teams and are eligible to compete in the National Championship. All of the Division I programs support over 24,000 Track and Field student-athletes across the country.
