CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's tennis will make the short trip into the Palmetto State for a rescheduled meeting with Winthrop Thursday afternoon, as the 49ers and Eagles prepare for a 2 p.m. first serve at the Rock Hill Tennis Center.
"We are fired up and ready to take on Winthrop Thursday," head coach Anthony Davison said. "They are a very good team which has been in the rankings this year, so it will be a tremendous opportunity for us to show what we can do."
Charlotte enters the matchup having won its last four, the second-longest win streak of the campaign, and having swept through a pair of Conference USA matches over the weekend.
