El Paso, Texas. – Charlotte had three players score in double-figures but the 49ers (13-16, C-USA: 7-11) lost to the UTEP Miners (14-16, C-USA: 12-6), 74-67, on the road in their final regular-season game.
"We played well overall and we stuck with the game plan defensively," Charlotte coach Mark Price said. "We put ourselves in a position to win. Unfortunately, we missed a few too many free throws and made some key turnovers down the stretch that we need to clean up. I was proud of the overall effort of our guys."
Andrien White recorded his fourth straight double-figure scoring game off the bench and his 18th double-figure scoring game of the season with 15 points.
