MANCHESTER, England – Former Charlotte women's soccer standout Martha Thomas has signed a tw-year professional contract with Manchester United, continuing her professional career which began in 2018. Manchester United is her third professional squad for which she will compete and the second in England's top league.
CONTINUING HER GROWTH
Thomas, who was born in Dorset, England, and moved to Weston, Florida, before arriving in Charlotte prior to the 2014 campaign, has made her splash on the international scene since concluding her 49ers career in 2017.
She originally agreed to terms with Le Havre Athletic Club in France for the 2018 season before completing the last two years (2019, 2020) with West Ham United across the English Channel in England.
