CHICAGO – Charlotte women's soccer all-time great Martha Thomas, class of 2018, has been chosen as one of 24 players to represent the United States on its Under-23 roster for a tournament, next week. The squad, compiled by head coach B.J. Snow, will compete in the 2019 Thorns Spring Invitational in Portland, Oregon.
Thomas becomes the second player in school history to represent the United States on a national team level, joining Lindsey Ozimek who competed for the U20 squad in 2006.
Thomas was one of eight forwards called and one of two current European professionals, as she has continued her post-Charlotte career with Le Havre in France.
