With four sacks at WKU, Charlotte broke its single-season school record with 23.0 sacks. The previous record was 21.0 in 2015. R-Sr. DE Alex Highsmith is now the 49ers all-time sack king: He owns school records for sacks in a game (2.0), season (7.5) and career (13.5). He ranks 2nd in C-USA and 10th in the FBS in sacks, this year.
