CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Following another successful run of fall broadcast events, Charlotte athletics and UNC Charlotte Cable Television has extended their agreement to showcase 10 basketball games this winter. Women's basketball will have six contests on the channel, while men's basketball will have four on the network that reaches over 500,000 Time Warner Cable and AT&T U-Verse subscribers in the Charlotte region.
The broadcasts can be seen on campus and in Mecklenburg, Union and Iredell counties through Time Warner Cable's channel 22. Broadcast Communications, located on campus, provides television and video production services to the University community.
