CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Senior track and field athlete K'Vonte Scott was one of 14 student-athletes to earn the Conference USA Spirit of Service Award, announced by the league late last week.
The C-USA Spirit of Service Award recognizes the community service efforts of the league’s student-athletes, based upon significant public service, good academic standing and participation in their elected sport.
Scott was named an All-American in 2015 after finishing 11th overall at the NCAA Championships in the decathlon, where he collected three Top 10 finishes of the ten-event all-around. The Virginia Beach, Va.
