CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte women's soccer team returned to the win column Thursday night and will look to continue that with a 1 p.m. Sunday home match with Western Carolina at Transamerica Field.
STACKING WINNERS
Senior Julia Grainda has sparked the 49ers' offense thus far this season, tallying a team-high three goals through the first-four games. All three of her scores have been game winners, including the clincher in the first minute of overtime Thursday night against Appalachian State. Her three game winners equal her single-season personal high, set in 2016 as a freshman, and her seven career move her into a tie for ninth on the school's all-time list.
