Charlotte 49ers sophomore Ellinor Sudow carded her best 18-hole scores in back-to-back rounds, including a program-record 68 in the second round, to claim a share of the individual lead after two rounds at the Valspar Augusta Invitational. Charlotte (-4, 572), which shot a school-record -8, 280 in round two, is in third place entering tomorrow's final round. The 49ers are one of only three of 12 teams to score under par after the first two rounds.
Texas Tech holds the second-round lead at 14-under par while Purdue is in second at eight-under. Charlotte's four-under par is good for third-place, four strokes ahead of host Augusta and Memphis.
