One by one, they finished up as well. The last to leave the field? Alex Highsmith. The redshirt senior defensive end has made a name for himself thanks, in part, to that strong work ethic. A former freshman walk-on, Highsmith was named first team all-Conference USA, last year, and is ranked as one of the top defensive prospects in the nation by Pro Football Focus.
